ENIS BONAGURA WESTON
BANGOR – Enis Bonagura Weston passed away Feb. 7, 2012, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Jan. 28, 1922, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the only child of Bridgetta and James Bonagura. She had recently celebrated her 90th birthday.
Enis had fond memories of her years in Brooklyn, N.Y., where she graduated from Neutrick High School. She enjoyed working in Manhattan, N.Y., before her marriage to Bruce Weston, May 26, 1946. They later moved to Seaford, Long Island, N.Y., where she raised her children. Later in life she moved around the country, finally settling in Bangor. Throughout her life, Enis rescued and cared for many cats with the help of her daughter. She loved cats and dogs, and enjoyed their antics.
Enis was predeceased by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Weston of Bangor; son, Kenneth Weston and his wife, Susan Weston, of Bath. She also leaves behind her five beloved cats, Valentine, Stephie, Fletcher, Socrates and Zorro, who will miss her greatly.
