    Enid Marion Albertson, 95, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Adam’s Place Assisted Living in Murfreesboro, TN. She was born on August 11, 1914 in Milton, IN to Charles and Claudia (Whisler) Albertson.

    Ms. Albertson was raised in Milton and graduated from Milton High School in 1932, attended Richmond Business School and graduated with a B.S. from Indiana University School of Business in 1942. Enid paid for her college expenses working at various offices in Indiana state government and served as minute clerk for the Indiana House of Representatives in 1937. She retired from the U.S. Department of Defense office at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Carl M. Albertson and a niece, Barbara (Ray) Ann Hornick Ryan.

    She is survived by her sister, Alice Eberhart of Smyrna, TN; a nephew, Dan (Gail) Eberhart of Broomfield, CO; a niece, Debbie (Kelsie) Jones of Nolensville, TN; 3 grand nieces; 4 grand nephews; 4 great grand nieces; 5 great grand nephews and a host of friends who treasured her wit and candor. The family is very grateful for the many kindnesses shown by the staff of Adam’s Place Assisted Living.

    Friends may call from 10:00 AM Saturday, February 27, 2010 until the start of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City, IN with Tom Cici officiating. Burial will follow at Westside Cemetery in Milton, IN. Memorial contribution may be made to the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University. Donations should be made out to the IU Foundation, and mailed to Kelly School of Business Alumni Office, 1275 E. Tenth St., Bloomington, IN 47405 C/O Diana Humphrey.
