↑ The other Pierce families in Warwick seem to be related to Family:Ebenezer Pierce and Sarah Woodbury (1) who were from Royalston, and thus do not fit the birth in Hopkinton. Emory's parentage has not been determined, no appropriate birth was found in Hopkinton VRs or elsewhere. The sometimes questionable Source:Munsell, Frank. American Ancestry, Vol. 8, p. 114, gives the date 7 Oct 1801, but no source is given.
