    Miss Emma Girdna Shacklette, 83 years old, was found dead in her home Monday, December 1, 1969 by her cousin, Morris Shacklette. She had apparently passed away last Wednesday, November 26th.

    Miss Shacklette was born September 13, 1886, a daughter of Dr. J.P. Shacklette and Arie Belle Sipes Shacklette.

    She is survived by one brother, Mr. Dan B. Shacklette, Louisville, one niece, one nephew and four great-nieces.

    Funeral services were held from the chapel of Hager-Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Blanc officiating. Burial; followed in Buck Grove Cemetery.
