Notes
Notes from Jane (Rausch) Delcoma to RC, 23 Mar 2019: In 1897, my grandfather Charles Rausch and my grandmother Emma Beitzel Rausch, who was pregnant with twins (Carl and Cora born March 30, 1897), at the time, also took a 4-month old baby into their home to raise. The baby was Howard Beitzel, whose father was George Beitzel, a brother of my grandmother. The mother of baby Howard had just died...After Howard came to live with my grandparents, he was known his entire life as Howard RAUSCH.

Helen Maxine Winkler Cox's Pedigree Chart. [her grandaughter] The chart shows Emma's birth as: 24 Nov 1942, which is clearly incorrect. It says she was born in Stone Creek, which is just south of "Blackband". Blackband no longer exists. The chart has the same death data as this page.

Picture taken in 1899: TWINS CARL AND CORA RAUSCH & HOWARD BEITZEL RAUSCH. In 1897, my grandfather Charles Rausch and my grandmother Emma Beitzel Rausch, who was pregnant with twins (Carl and Cora born March 30, 1897), at the time, also took a 4-month old baby into their home to raise. The baby was HOWARD BEITZEL, whose father was George Beitzel, a brother of my grandmother. The mother of baby Howard had just died. I cannot imagine three babies in 1897 in cloth diapers and without any conveniences in the home. After Howard came to live with my grandparents, he was known his entire life as Howard RAUSCH.
