SMITH, Emily, d. Joseph and Olive, [born] Oct. 1, 1845.

  3. Emily is listed in the 1855 state census (line 4) at age 9, but five years later is not found in her mother's household in 1860 (lines 29-32). It would seem that she is too young to have gotten married, it is presumed she died. While her name is not uncommon, and this does not rule out her living with relatives, etc., she does not seem to appear in later censuses either (parents in 1865, mother in 1870), nor appear to have a marriage or death record, so no later record has yet been identified as her.
