JW Notes - 9 Nov 2006 - The assumption that Carrie was the daughter of Emiley is based on ages of the two women. The 1880 Census lists Emiley and Carrie as sisters of James, Head of House. That would have made his mother, Marticia, 57 when Carrie was born.
