↑ No confirmed record of Emmeline is found after the 1880 census. There is an Emmeline R Jillson who died in California 3 Mar 1932. According to the Los Angeles index of deaths, her certificate was (apparently) removed from vol. 311. The statewide index (column 3432, sixth from bottom) shows an age of 78 (so born about 1854), with a location of "36" (San Bernardino County), certificate 16997. Assuming the age in the 1930 census is off by 10 years (see here, line 5), it probably is her. But nothing from the intervening years (i.e., 1880-1930) has been located.
