    MRS. ELVIRA LOGAN DIES AT MURPHYSBORO

    Mrs. Elvira Logan, widow of the late Thomas Logan, a brother of General John A. Logan, died at the home of her nephew, John G. Hardy, at Murphysboro, Sunday morning.

    She was one of the pioneers of this county, being 80 years old at the time of her death. Funeral services were held at the Hardy home this morning.
