Many possibilities exist, including that one or more of these records has an incorrect year, or that Vivian married, divorced and remarried one or more of her husbands, or that Vivian had 2 children out of wedlock (between marriages). It might also be possible that she and William Robert Rush adopted their first 2 children and the adoption records caused their children's names to show up in the birth index for 1949 under their new names. Since the records of their births are in an index, it is impossible to tell if the registrations occurred in 1949 or later.
