Mrs. W.J. McCluen died Sunday--Ellen Merry born 12 June 1935 in Monroe, Co OH. grew to womanhood there. ll Jan. 1855 married William J. McCluen who survives, 13 children born, 10 survive--Mrs Marie Ashton, James & George, Mrs. Laura Jones & Mrs. Emma Hogelin of Guthrie Center, Mrs. Carrie Fullenwider, Panora, Mrs. Bedela Cook, Victor Ia, Mrs. Dora Rummell, Dows Ia, Otis of Guthrie Center, and Charles of Clarinda came to Guthrie Center 16 April 1857.
