MRS. ELLEN BELL Mrs. Ellen (Hill) Bell, widow of William Bell and a resident of this city for the past 45 years, and a former resident of the Wigginville section, died last evening at the Lowell General Hospital, following a brief illness, aged 68 years, 8 months, and 12 days.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Guy M. Kittredge of Providence, R. I., Mrs. Herbert Nussey of North Billerica, Mrs. Rudolph Johnson of Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. N. Peter Nelson of this city, with whom Mrs. Bell made her home for the past 10 years; two sons, Lester W. Bell of Tewksbury and Matthew J. Bell of Concord, N. H.; 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephew residing in Scotland. Mrs. Bell was a member of the First Presbyterian church and the True Blue Mothers club. Her body was removed to Saunders funeral home, 90 Westford street, where friends may call after 2 o'clock this afternoon. |
