Aunt Ethel Henderson Casey was always very vague and unsure about this person. Aunt Ethel indicated that this could have been merely a widow of her Uncle Alphonso or Uncle Charles. Ella never shows up in any census with the family, but the family was evidently missed entirely by the 1860 census.

There is an Ella Henderson, domestic servant, aged 16, in Christian Co., IL, in 1870.
