On the 1865 NY state census for Clarendon, Orleans, NY -Reuben Swan 54, husband #2 of Elizabeth 29. @ chilrne listed- Michael (last name implied as Swan) 11yrs and Elizabeth Case 9yrs...both b. Genesee Co NY. In 1870 Reuben & Elizabeth 40, have one child listed with them-Michael Foster 16yrs. In 1880, they have no children listed with them. They lived in Clarendon, NY (Orleans Co) for all these census. There is good possibility that when Reuben died, Elizabeth married to his brother, George. Georg'es obit says he married to Betsy Swan in 1887
