Neither WeRelate Watchers "carolgreene" nor "White Creek" have Elizabeth or her sister Edith in their databases. However, the girls names appear on the same tombstone as their parents, and the inscription says daughter of "J. & E. Schlemmer". Therefore; even though these girls have not been confirmed as children of John and Elizabeth, it seems likely that they were. Consequently, they have been included here, until someone can claim otherwise.

Since the inscription says that Elizabeth was an "infant", then perhaps she was a newborn? Therefore, it makes sense to speculate that her year of birth was in 1887.
