Elizabeth Norman was baptised on 6th October 1782 at Letchworth in Hertfordshire, daughter of Sarah Norman, formerly Allen, and her husband Joseph Norman, a shopkeeper. Some time between 1788 and 1790 the family moved to the neighbouring parish of Willian. Elizabeth died as a young woman of just 25 years old, being buried at Willian in November 1787.
