Elizabeth1 (Morrison), bp. at Great Amwell, Herts., 11 Feb. 1623/4; d. at Roxbury, Mass., 6 Oct. 1673; m. by 15 July 1664 (perhaps earlier) Edward Cartwright of Boston, mariner, who d. ca. 10 Aug. 1671, "miscarried in a boat at sea and supposed to be drowned." She is almost certainly the Elizabeth Morrison, age 12, who came to New England in 1635, on the Planter as a servant in the family of George Giddings. No issue.

    ORIGIN: Ware, Hertfordshire.
MIGRATION: 1635 on the Planter (on 2 April 1635, "Elizabeth Morrison," aged 12, on of three "servants to Geo[rge] Giddings," was enrolled at London as a passenger for New England on the Planter [Hotten 46]).
BIRTH: Baptized Great Amwell, Hertfordshire, 11 February 1623/24, daughter of Edward and Prudence (Heath) Morrison [NEHGR 146:275-78].
DEATH: 4 October 1673 [SPR 7:333] and buried Roxbury 6 October 1673 ("Elizabeth Cartwright, sister to Edw[ar]d Morrice" [RChR 180]).

The identification of the 1635 passenger with the wife of Edward Cartwright is made on the basis of age and the association of the passenger with George Giddings, a man who lived not far from the parish of origin of the wife of Edward Cartwright.
