Am seeking information on Elizabeth "Betsy/Betsey" McCarroll b. abt 1794 in Virginia, married David Spyker 9 Dec 1811 in Botetourt County. Elizabeth McCarroll, according to the marriage record is the daughter of James McCarroll. After their marriage David and Elizabeth resided in the area of Abingdon, Washington Co., VA until Oct 1831. Thereafter, they emmigrated to Winchester, Franklin Co., TN. In August of 1859, a son of David & Elizabeth Spyker visited his "kinfolk" in Fincastle, Botetourt Co.,
