Elizabeth was born about 1797 in Kentucky. She is the daughter of Abraham Mayberry and Ann Womack. She passed away about 1866 in Henderson County, Tennessee.
Elizabeth married John Q Stanfield on 21 March 1847 in Williamson County, Tennessee.[1]
In 1850 the widow Elizabeth (Mayberry) Stanfield is living in Henderson County, Tennessee. In her household are children: John, Alfred, Caroline, David W, and James H Stanfield. Also living with her is her father Abraham Mayberry.[2] Based on her marriage date, these children are not hers; the youngest, David, is seven years old, born in 1843. They are apparently her husband John's children from a previous marriage.
