    Her father was Col Benjamin Franklin Graves b 1771 Spotsylvania Co VA and killed about 22 Jan 1813 while being held Prisoner by Indians after his capture at the Battle of River Raisin. Graves County KY is named for him.

    Her mother was Mary "Polly" Dudley, one of three daughters of Elder Ambrose and Ann Parker Dudley. She was born in 1773 in Spotsylvania Co VA and died about 1868, probably in Pike Co, MO.
