Elizabeth Fensom’s origins have yet to be established. Her first confirmed sighting is on 26th July 1790, when she married James Meakins at Aspley Guise in Bedfordshire.

Elizabeth and James went on to have eight children at Aspley Guise between 1791 and 1806, although their eldest son died when only about eighteen months old. Elizabeth has yet to be traced after the baptism of her youngest daughter in 1806.
