Elizebeth Wood wife of Dea. Elijah Wood aged 48 yrs died August 1, 1843.
Source:Holmes, Clay Wood. Genealogy of the Lineal Descendants of William Wood Who Settled in Concord, Massachusetts in 1638, p. 84, says Elijah Wood's wife d. 1 Aug 1843, aged 48. But it does not indicate how it knows this, nor indicate who her parents or what her birthdate was. The Billerica Vital Records, p. 72, 73, and 74, show the birth of "twins" [sic] Bette b. 20 Jun 1795, Edward b. 26 Sep 1795, and Rispah b. 26 Sep 1795, born to Edward Farmer and his second wife Elizabeth (first wife Rispah d. 1791). Since Bette's birth is different, it is probably the erroneous one. It could easily be 1793 or 1796. Elijah and Elizabeth Wood named a child Edward Farmer Wood, so she would appear to be the best candidate for Elijah Wood's first wife. An Edward Farmer tertius (third) of Billerica also has a daughter Elizabeth, born early 1799, which is less likely, but remotely possible.
