  2. ↑ user:sarahs 16 Nov 2013 - It has been thought by some authors that Buckley's wife might have had the surname ENGLISH because his name appears in the estate records of John ENGLISH. However, Buckley's name does not appear in the estate division to legatees; Buckley’s name merely appears on a balance sheet in a list of 13 persons who apparently owed money to the estate.  I think an early researcher saw the John English estate returns and simply drew an erroneous conclusion.
