- ↑ Source:Thwing, Annie Haven. Inhabitants and Estates of the Town of Boston, 1630-1800, and the Crooked and Narrow Streets of Boston, 1630-1822 apparently gets confused because after Elizabeth d. 1790, her father had a daughter, Elizabeth Cheever Davis, by his then wife Eleanor Cheever. Thwing says she m. (1) William Bordman and m. (2) Dr. George Shattuck. But William Bordman m. Sally Davis after Elizabeth's death, and George Shattuck m. a woman named Eliza Davis, probably the second daughter, but her name at time of marriage showing she was clearly not the widow of William Bordman.
