Marriage to Robert Bailey

Elizabeth Casey Bailey separated from Robert Bailey and she and her daughter Nancy continued to live in her father's home. Her husband Robert Bailey sued William Casey, Sr., and in the testimony he states that William Casey, Sr. and his sons drove him off with a shotgun when he went to get his wife to move to Gallation County, Illinois, where he had bought land. He (Bailey) had previously sold the land in Robb Township that he had inherited from his father, Zachariah Bailey.
