  4.   Source:Wheeler, Albert Gallatin. Genealogical and Encyclopedic History of the Wheeler Family in America, p. 152, identifies Abner Wheeler's wife as Elizabeth Hunt, d/o Simon Hunt and Anna Barron, b. 20 Aug 1751. This is impossible since she died 7 Oct 1751 (Source:Concord, Middlesex, Massachusetts, United States. Births, Marriages, and Deaths, 1635-1850, p. 183). Source:Wheeler Families of Old Concord, Massachusetts, p. 64, says the same thing, but the 1970 typed manscript adds a note (added in pencil to the original 1908 manuscript): "Wheeler says she was a Brooks, widow of Thomas Hunt." This appears correct and matches the age at death perfectly.
