Research notes

  • online trees claim that she is "Mary Eliza Ann Norwood", d/o Samuel Norwood (and perhaps Ann Wheeler), but proof of this relationship is not provided
  • Eliza, b 1806, only appears in the 1850 census with husband John
  • it appears that Eliza is the mother of all of John's children
  • subsequent censuses show John with a wife named Mary B Foster, b Abt 1812, and this is the wife he is buried with in Hereford UMC Cemetery
