Facts and Events
Dear Brother and Sister I take my pen in hand to write you a few lines to let you know that we are all well at present. Hoping when these few lines arrive in your hand they may find you all enjoying the same dear blessings. We landed safe in California after six months travel. We had no trouble with the indians. We are stopping at Walkers and we like the country very well. We would of come by there but it was so far out of the way and we was so near wore out that we thought we would go the nearest way. So we could get there and rest. We would like for you to come to see us I got about two years talk for you. I expect to come to see you some time or other if you come up perhaps I may go home with you. You must write to us as soon as you get this letter. So no more present but remain you sister. Eliza Hunter Dear Uncle and Aunt I take my pen in hand to let know that we are all well hoping these few lines may find you all enjoying the same blessing and we are getting along well.
