  3. The birthplace is specified as Stonington, CT, in the death record but Athol in the marriage to Edwin. The birth is only found recorded in Athol, to parents both born in Massachusetts. Further, the marriage to Edwin Walker indicates it is her second marriage and her name is King (on all recordings originating from three different towns). Yet, the only prior marriage found is in 1853 (#4) to Horace Witt (naming parents so clearly her). Oddly, Horace is living with his parents in 1855 with no sign of a wife (line 9). The town copy is not online. Even if she remarried to a Mr. King not yet located, this would make three marriages, not two, if it happened. If, rather, one suspects that Horace Witt was misrecorded in lieu of the correct husband, Mr. King, it is difficult to explain why Eliza King has not been located in census records. This cannot be resolved without further research.
