Eliza Jane was the daughter of Rev. Thomas Springer Bronston, Sr & his 1st wife, Lucy Ann Wilson Clark of Richmond, Madison County, Kentucky.
Her first marriage was 4 Apr 1833 in Madison Co, KY (date carved on her headstone) to General Samuel Black (1800-1862), s/o John Black & Sarah Gass (d/o Capt David Gass who came to KY with Daniel Boone and settled at Boonesborough).
Note: Eliza's father, Thomas S Bronston Sr, later married Sam Black's sister, Martha "Patsy" Black, as his 2nd wife.
Eliza's second marriage in June 1865(date carved on her headstone) was to Abram Newton Dale (1811–1883)of Woodford County, as his 3rd wife. They had no children.
