Elisha Lawton of Newport, cordwainer. Will dated 31 May 1811, proved 5 Aug 1811, pps. 23-24. Daughters: Mary Pratt wife of William Pratt, Amey Hathaway deceased formerly wife of Abner Hathaway. Grandchildren, children of my daughter Mary Pratt: John Vilett Pratt, Elisha Lawton Pratt, Amey Lawton Pratt, Samuel Pratt, Job Lawton Pratt, & Thomas Pratt, some or all under age. Grandson Abner Hathaway Jr under 21 son of Abner Hathaway & my late daughter Amey Hathaway. Granddaughter Jane Hathaway under 18. Mrs. Pinnigar.
