John Lyon’s or Capt Jesse Perkin’s Company which married on the alarm of April 19 ’75 [Battles of Lexington and Concord] service seven days; the two Rehoboth alarm companies under Capt. L. and Capt. P. returned under one roll; also Col William R. Lee’s rgt. enlisted May 20th 1777 resident Rehoboth, enlisted for town of Rehoboth; enlistment 3 years, reported died Dec. 15th 1777.

[Marker broken, repaired, etching worn, very hard to read from image. Inscriptions given on page:] In memory of Mr. Elisha Bliss, died Nov 1778 in the 47th year of his age. Mrs. Rugh Bliss, his wife, died March 3, 1807 in the 75th year of her age. Amos Bliss their youngest son, died June 1778 aged 4 years.
