"Elias Strong b. Feb. 21, 1713, d. unmarried May 30, 1765, aged 52. He was a farmer at Northampton. 'All his real estate he gave to his father; and divided his personal estate between his brothers Jonathan, Ichabod, Thomas, Elisha and his sister Mehitable (wife of Samuel Sheldon), and the children of his sister Experience (wife of Nehemiah Lewis), and his brother Caleb Strong and his sister Lois (wife of Seth Strong), and Lucy (wife of Isaac Parsons).'"

"Strong Elias, s. Jonthn & Meitabell [born] Feb. 21, 1713/4"

Although the Corbin Collection has this birth occurring in 1713/14, examination of the record indicates that the entries are chronological and that the six consecutive entries carrying the 1713/14 date should be 1712/13. An examination of the original record would help resolve this issue.

The image included with this memorial is quite clear that the date of death was 31 May, not 30 May.
