I Elias Forsey of the parish of Chard in the
County of Somersett Clothier being indisposed but of
sound mind memory and understanding Doth make and
appoint this my last Will and Testament in manner
and form following to wit Item I give to my loving
wife Five hundred and Forty pounds to be paid unto my loving
wife in twelves Months after my decease by my said
Executors following Item I give to my living wife all my
household Goods in the Dwelling house Item I give to
my Son Richard Forsey all the remainder of that term
of a Lease that is not expried at my decease which I
now resist[?] Item I give to Bridget Fowler my
Daughter one pound one shilling Item I give to Mary
Bull my Daughter one pound one shilling Item I give
to Ann Slade my Daughter one pound one shilling Irem
I give to Catherin Hodge[?] my Daughter One pound one
shilling Item I give to Sarah Forsey my Daughter one
pound one shilling Item I give to Martha[?] Forsey
my Daughter one pound one shilling Item I give and
bequeath all the rest remainder of my Goods and Chattels
and all other Effects unto my said Sons Richard and
John Forsey for whom I do appoint as joint Executors
to this my last Will and Testament as witness my hand
being first published sealed and delivered in the presents
of us this seventh day of August in the year of our _ [sic] one
thousand seven hundred and eighty three Elias Forsey (LS)

This Will was proved at London the fifteenth
day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand
seven hundred and eighty nine before the Right Worshipful
Site William Wynut[?] Right Doctor of Laws Marter Keeper
or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury
lawfully constituted by the Oaths of Richard Forsey and
John Forsey the sons of the deceased and Executors named
in the said Will to whom administration was granted of
all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said
deceased having been first sworn (by Commission) duly to administer.
