!OCCUPATION:According to Robert Glasscock on Prodigy (HWXG36A) Eli was a boot & shoe maker by trade & spent most of his early life in the shoe shop. After going to KY as a young man he turned his attention to farming & distilling.

!RELIGION:Eli is reported to have been of the Baptist faith. Mary Coffey was his first cousin. Moved to Sangamon, then Shelby, then Christian Co, IL--per Carl Clark of VA

Son Willis the sole executor.
