Col. Eleazer Flagg, Esq., son of Lieut. Gershom and Hannah (Leppenwell) Flagg, born Aug. 1, 1670, — colonel and magistrate, — married Esther Green, Jan. 17, 1694-95. His widow, "Madam Esther," died 1744 (epitaph 123). Col. Flagg (or Flegg, as he preferred to write his name) gave a silver cup to the Church in Woburn," 1726. (Vide Sewall's Woburn, 612, etc.)
