Obituary

WILLSHIRE, Ohio - Eldon Wayne Medaugh, 65, of Willshire, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at his residence.

He was born Jan. 6, 1946, in Van Wert, to the late John Samuel Wayne Medaugh and Alice Imo (Hurless). His wife, Catherine Marie (Self), died June 17, 2011. The couple was married June 22, 1976.

Survivors include two brothers, Ronald Dean (Carolyn) Medaugh of Van Wert and Marlin Duane (Wanda) Medaugh of Willshire; and his mother-in-law, Beulah Self of Macomb.

He retired from Federal Mogul having served over 46 years. He was a 1963 graduate of Parkway High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Korea. He had been member of the American Legion.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert. The Rev. Mark Rutledge of Praise Point United Brethern Church will officiate. Burial will be in Greenbrier Cemetery, Willshire Township. Military rites at gravesite will be performed by Willshire Post 207 of the American Legion.

Calling is 5 - 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Preferred memorial is Wren Fire & E.M.S.
