Obituary ELBERTA L. KENT, 66

 Elberta L. Kent, 66, of East Jordan died Sunday, Aug. 20, 2000, at Charlevoix Area Hospital.
 Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2000, at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in East Jordan.  The Rev. Robert H. Carter will officiate. Interment will be in Morehouse Cemetery, Echo township, Antrim County, Mich.
 She was born on Dec. 31, 1933, at the family farm near East Jordan, the daughter of James and Sylvia (Bolser) Folsom.  She had been a homemaker most of her life. She had also worked at the canning factory in Central Lake and Mt. Clemens Metal Products, now known as Dura, in East Jordan.  She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, fishing, gardening, hunting, mushrooming and fixing stuff.
 She is survived by two daughters, Marie Kent and Marlene (Steve) Wilson, both of East Jordan; six grand children, one brother, Delbert (Shirley) Folsom of East Jordan; one sister, Virginia Rebec of East Jordan; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
 The family will receive friends from noon until time of service on Wednesday, Aug. 23, at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in East Jordan.  The family was served the the Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc. in East Jordan.
