Edwin S. Graham spent his boyhood in Graham where he attended school but he was still quite a child when his family moved to Spokane, Washington.

Edwin came back to Texas to enter Southwestern University at Georgetown. He received his B.S. degree in 1903. He then went to Massachusetts School of Technology where he finished his B.S. degree in 1905. Edwin Graham traveled and spent time in Old Mexico for several years. He then settled in Graham and became a partner with his brother, Malcolm K. Graham, in the Graham Land Office Firm.
