"… on 8 May 1633, 'Edward Swifte son of William Swifte, citizen and leatherseller of London, was bound apprentice to George Andrewes for seven years,' and, on 2 July 1640, 'Edward Swifte apprentice of George Andrewes [was] made free,' both records being from the Wardens' Accounts of the Worshipful Company of Butchers [TAG 77:165]; mentioned by Thomas Lechford in 1640 [Lechford 310]; no further record (unless a 1646 burial record in London pertains to him [TAG 77:171])."[1] References
