"He lived in what is now the Northwest corner of Davidson County, North Carolina on the East side of the Yadkin River and the West side of Muddy Creek, at their junction. with four brothers came to this country and settled in what is now New Jersey.h Carolina.

Some records found of Edward Pool and his children in early Rowan County, North Carolina: Deed Book 5, page 141, 8-26-1762 Granville (the English Lord) grants to Edward Pool of Rowan County, North Carolina, 175 acres at the mouth of Muddy Creek, on the east bank of the Yadkin River.

Rowan Court Minutes, 1-25-1767 Edward Pool is appointed Road Overseer in the place of John Douthit. Rowan County Marriage Bonds, 11-29-1769 Margaret Pool and Barnard Wells secure Marriage Bond with her father, Edward Pool, giving his written consent. --- EDWARD POOL
