(She m. 2nd husband, Mark Prindle, and died in Litchfield, Ct.) Capt. Phelps's will, dated 9 July, 1776 [1796?], presented 8 May, 1797, by Hannah and John Phelps, refers to wife Hannah, daughter Anna, m. Aaron Seymour, Deborah, m. Capt. Eli Smith, Hannah, m. Grove Catlin, Sarah, wife of David Pierpont, and son, John Phelps. Captain Phelps was a farmer. He settled in Litchfield, Ct., served in the Revolutionary War. Died in Litchfield, Ct., 26 Mar., 1797, in his 70th year."
