    Sacred to the Memory
    of EDWARD AUGUSTUS MAY,
    born Feb. 16, 1817,
    died
    April 28, 1838.
[Note: there is another memorial claiming burial in Boston's Central Burying Ground. This is apparently based on Source:Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States. Inscriptions and Records of the Old Cemeteries of Boston, p. 97, which lists under tomb 131:
    May, Edward Augustus, Apr. 28, 1838, ae. 21 y. Tomb 131.
May, [Edward Augustus, bur. Mar., 1846. Tomb 131. M.C.]
The introduction is not online, so the meaning of "M.C." is unclear, but another Edward Augustus May, son of John J. May, d. 28 Feb 1846, age 8 according to Source:Dorchester, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States. Vital Records of the Town of Dorchester from 1826 to 1849, p. 251. So it is not clear if the Edward of this page was buried in Boston since he died much earlier than his siblings, then having a cenotaph erected in Forest Hills where his siblings seem to be buried, or if he is listed here due to confusion with his brother's son, the younger one apparently named after him?]
