Edward E. Kisabeth, 92, of Fostoria, died on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005 at Fremont Memorial Hospital. He was born on Nov. 8, 1913 in Seneca CO to Orley and Elzina Swank Kisabeth. He married Thelma M. Wooten on April 19, 1942 in Fostoria and she died on Oct. 3, 2003. Those who survive him include three daughters, Ann Casey of Dayton, Pat (Roger) Otermat of Fremont, and Kathy Kisabeth of Newport News, Va.; one sister, Marvalene Cook of Tiffin; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; one brother, Chester Kisabeth; two sisters, Ina Kisabeth and Esther Krupp; and one grandchild, Libby Otermat. Ed retired in 2000 as a lifelong farmer. He was a member of the the Amsden United Methodist Church and a 1931 graduate of Jackson-Liberty High School. Ed was a founding member of the Lakota School Board, a charter member of the Amsden Lion’s Club, member of the Jackson Liberty Grange and Lakota Adult Farmers, past treasurer of the Seneca CO Fair Board, and past clerk of Jackson Twp. In 1995 he received the Seneca CO Agriculture Hall of Recognition Award and he was also a recipient of the Lakota FFA Appreciation Award. Visitation was held on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2005 at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home in Fostoria. Funeral services were held on Monday, Dec. 5, 2005 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial followed in Fountain Cemetery in Fostoria. Memorial contributions may be made to the Amsden United Methodist Church. On-line condolences may be sent to the family at www.hffh.net.
