    Warren County on this Fourth day of October in the year of our lord Eighteen hundred and twenty eight before the undersigned and acting Justice of the peace within and for said county the within named grantors Edward Drake and Susan his wife Samuel French Aaron Brandenburg and Polly his wife, Henry Voorhis and Polly his wife, John Brandenburg Anne Brandenburg and acknowledged the within instrument of writing to be the voluntery act and deed the said Susan Drake, Polly Brandenburg and Polly Voorhis being examined separate and apart from their husbands and being acquainted with the contents of this deed by hearing the said read did then declare that they signed and now acknowledge the within did freely and voluntary and without the fear force or coertion of their said husbands.
    In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal, day and year as a above.
