It has not been yet determined how this Edward Carvin is related to the other Carvins of Botetourt County, Virginia. With a marriage date in 1788, it is unreasonable to suggest that he is the same Edward Carvin that married Hannah Stover in 1812 in Botetourt County, as records show the other Edward Carvin was born in 1777 and would have only been 11 years old in 1788.
