Edward Capen [#33], s/o Samuel, b. Dorchester 24 Sep 1686, d. Dorchester 28 Jun 1770, m. Boston 28 Mar 1739 Patience "Solomon".
[Note: the reason why Solomon is in quotes in this source, is because older genealogies name her as Patience Tolman, but both the Dorchester and Boston marriage records say Solomon. A footnote says the only Patience Tolman found married somebody else. As she died in 1804, she is clearly younger than this Edward, and that Edward would marry at age 56 and have 5 children is somewhat unusual. Further research is needed to confirm this marriage is being applied to the correct Edward.]
