Edna passed away on December 10th, 2016 at the age of 89 years. She was born in Francis, SK. on November 10th, 1927. She received most of her education in Moose Jaw, graduating from Peacock Technical Institute. Edna worked at Woolworth’s and Zellers in Moose Jaw. She married Len Smith in 1951 and in 1952 they moved to the family farm at Lake Valley, SK. In 1970, they moved back to Moose Jaw due to Len’s poor health. Len passed away in 1973. In 1977, Edna married Gordon MacLachlan. Gordon passed away in 2000. She is survived by her two daughters Linda (Les) Hood of Raymore and Rhonda (Nick) Nicholson of Moose Jaw, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 19th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate and interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
