NOTE: Jacobus (Hale, House, p. 511) identifies an unnamed daughter of John Day, son of Robert and Editha (Stebbins) Day, and places her between Mary, born about 1678, and Maynard, born about 1684. Boltwood (Genealogies of Hadley Families, p. 98) identifies the wife of Ebenezer Moody (born 23 October 1675, son of Samuel [2], grandson of John [1]) as Editha _____, who died 19 August 1757 in 75th year; i.e., born about 1683. Barbour (Families of Early Hartford, Connecticut, p. 210) specifically lists "Editha m Ebenezer Moody" as a daughter of John Day. Based on the above, it is likely that the unnamed daughter of John Day (and one of his two wives, Mary Gaylord or Sarah Butler) is the Editha who married Ebenezer Moody.
