Edith Geneva Orman,83, of Terre Haute died at 12:38 p.m., Monday, July 24, 1995 in Union Hospital. She was born Dec. 10, 1911, in Riley to Frederick Smith and Clara Brownlee Smith. Her husband, Harvey Orman, died in 1984. Survivors include six sons, Joseph Orman, Sr., Harvey M. Orman, Paul R. Orman, Kenneth W. Orman, Darrell R. Orman, and Donald L. Orman, one daughter, Mary E. Gardner; one sister, Phyllis Hawkins; two brothers, Paul R. Smith and Byron Smith; 43 grandchildren; 92 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Services are 1 p.m. Thursday in DeBaun Idaho Street Chapel, with the Rev. Rick Parson officiating. Burial is in Grandview Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. today.
